Anstead Acres is an agistment and horse education centre in Anstead, set on 20 acres of beautiful country in the western suburbs of Brisbane, owned and run by Pam and David Andrew. We are 30 minutes from the CBD and Ipswich. Anstead Acres is a picturesque property with excellent horse facilities offering agistment for horse owners, as well as horse education in the form of lessons, clinics and exclusive events.
We also have a lovely little ‘Airbnb’ cottage on our property available for booking. This suits couples looking for a rural escape, horse owners looking for a place to stay and ride the reserve with their horse, or horse owners who might want to stay near Westvets situated at the end of our road. Our beautiful property is also available as a venue and suited to intimate celebrations or ‘pop-up’ weddings, small corporate groups for bonding or workshops, not to mention a spectacular photographic venue to capture special moments.

Pam Andrew has over 40 years of horse experience. In the past, she has bred and started her own horses, taking them from foals to successful competition horses, some of which are still in the team today. In addition to horse breeding and training, Pam has competed in stock horse futurities, camp drafting and challenges, as well as having success at shows. Pam still travels far and wide to compete in a range of events with her horse team.
Moreover, Pam is a champion of horses; it is her love and respect of horses that ignited her desire to open Anstead Acres; offering agistment, lessons, clinics and events with the aim of improving horse and human partnerships. You can rest knowing your horse is in safe hands with her; whether they are part of our agistment community or coming along to participate in education.
If you are lucky enough to be part of our horse community you will come to enjoy Pam’s obvious passion, positivity and enthusiasm for all things horse related, as well as her calm guidance. Lastly, we cannot fail to mention David Andrew who is very much a part of the day-to-day operations at Anstead Acres as well as our small team of staff who help to care for our horses and property.

Volunteer
Anstead Acres offers volunteer opportunities for enthusiastic individuals aged from 15+ upwards who are keen to be involved and around horses.

Volunteering with us will help you develop a strong work ethic, while getting fit and spending time outdoors on our beautiful property.
