Anstead Acres hosts a number of events each year to suit all ages. Whether we are hosting children at a day camp, or working with our ladies at a ride event, we love sharing our time with horse-loving kids and adults.

Ladies Ride Events
Ladies ride evenings offer an opportunity for ladies to enjoy an extended education evening (or morning) with their own horses aimed at enhancing their connection with their horse whilst refining, improving and strengthening their technical skills. After all, our horses are a direct reflection of a riders investment in improving their own skills and knowledge.
We believe that being able to confidently educate and guide our horses is a goal worth striving for. Our ladies ride events are a great way to meet other lady riders and enjoy the support and camaraderie of a like-minded group.
Last but not least, at the end of our riding we will debrief and chat horses enjoying either a glass of bubbles and nibbles, or a cuppa.

Developing Rider Camps
During the school holidays we offer riding camps for our developing riders who come to us for regular lessons. Our developing riders can walk, trot and canter confidently. These riding camps focus on more advanced skills and activities to allow the riders to build on their lesson foundations.
Our developing rider camp activities may include:
- Cattle work basics
- All-terrain riding
- Working equitation
- Challenge trails
- Show preparation
A spot in these camps is by *invitation only*.

Kids Horsey Holiday Camps
At Anstead Acres we believe every child deserves to spend some time with horses on their holidays! We love having kids aged 6 to 13 years join us to learn more about horses. Our camps will provide your children with a basic level of horse education including safety, grooming, feeding and of course riding the beautiful, educated Anstead Acres horses!
Your children will make new friends and enjoy a group atmosphere encouraging everyone to participate and have fun, whilst improving their horse knowledge and skills. The two riding sessions included in each camp allow children of all skill levels to enjoy developing their skills on horseback with their newly made friends.
These camps run for 3 hours, and are available only on our educated school horses. We have limited spaces available in these popular day camps, and it is best to book early in the term to ensure your child's spot.
Duration: 15 minutes
